Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. He closed the book but Christian was commanded to see his seer in Haggai 2:11 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priest concerning the law.... It was God's gift for someone to understand his mystery as written in Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.. I considered myself lucky to understand the bible through the teaching of our presiding minister Bro. Eli Soriano. You can visit his blog in www.esoriano.wordpress.com and try to ask him all your concerns regarding the bible. The text says: "And the Lord said, Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is very great, and their sin is very evil, 21 I will go down now, and see if their acts are as bad as they seem from the outcry which has come to me; and if they are not, I will see." "their sin is very evil" - that is the reason why god destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone. And because there wasn´t one righteous man in the city of Sodom to be found. homosexuality may have been one aspect of the sinful live of the Sodomites but not the only one. Violent behaviour plays a more important role in their sins against God, since they want to harm the righteous Lot and want to rape the two strangers inside Loth´s house - two Angels of God, which would really piss me off, if I was God.
