We’ve been here before. I made it through maybe 1/12 of the year. No matter – I will simply try again. This time, however, I will succeed.

I am reading the Bible this year. 2008 is the year. It’s the Catholic Bible, to be specific. To be extremely specific, I am reading the Revised Standard Version – Catholic Edition. It’s casing, however, has been edited by days. Its layman’s title is My Daily Catholic Bible. Pretty sweet, right? There will be more about Catholicism later, I promise.

Here’s the format. I will read the Bible everyday. When I miss a day, I will catch up later. When I’m intrigued, I may read a day or two ahead. As often as I am able, I shall muse about what I’ve read. Ideally, that will be everyday, but who the hell are we kidding here? I’ve started many blogs and many projects. As is the case in most people’s lives, I have finished only a small portion of these. I hope this will be one of them, we shall see. Pray for me, and maybe I’ll get through it.
